About us:We develop renewable energy assets in the Middle East and Latin America mainly focussing on solar PV and energy storage projects We are a small team, very dedicated and extremely focused on achieving the goals our investors have set: deliver a 3 GWp pipeline in the Middle East and Latin America
Core purposeWe are looking for a highly motivated analyst to split her/his time between providing support on valuation, reporting, execution of investment transactions (60-70%) as well as supporting the team with research and internal reporting to the board and to investors (40-30%)
Type of role:Full-time position, with an initial 12-month contract with automatic roll-on
Primary Responsibilities You will be accountable for:

  • Investment reporting for current Solar and Energy Storage projects
  • Acquisition of data
  • Valuation analytics: application of valuation tools incorporating project finance, corporate finance, capital markets and investment arithmetic concepts
  • Financial modelling: build and maintain detailed financial models on a timely and accurate basis with zero error rate
  • Preparing documents for decision making: presentations and other relevant documents on a timely basis and operate in accordance with the investment process
  • Reporting (using corporate project management tools)
  • Transaction support: in relation to sourcing, buying and building of renewable energy assets, technology and service companies
  • Due diligence support: in relation to acquisition and divestment of renewable energy assets and technology / service companies
  • Research support: perform highly detailed research encompassing desktop and field research (akin to investigative journalism) on a timely, incisive and well-presented manner

Who are we looking for

  • An excel enthusiast with fantastic skills for FAST financial modelling knowledge, ideally has worked for infrastructure modelling firms / project finance model builders
  • Someone who has 3-5 years’ experience in either: finance, banking, private equity
  • Someone with knowledge of M&A and understands different valuation methodologies
  • Background in energy is a plus but not an absolute requirement
  • Arabic and/or Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills would be an advantage for this role
